Our second annual Evening of Hope will take place on Saturday, March 2nd, 2019 from 7:00-10:00 pm at Temple Emanuel Sinai, 661 Salisbury St, Worcester, MA 01609. The event will feature the opportunity to sample wines, enjoy appetizers and small plates, and spend a lovely Saturday evening with friends and community members--all for a wonderful cause. Our inaugural event in 2018 raised more than $10,000 for IHN, and we hope to double that for 2019. Information about purchasing tickets will be posted here in January, as well as on our Facebook page. Tickets will be limited, so make sure you get them early. Mark your calendars and spread the word!

Camp REACH designs new storage solution for IHN
July 11, 2017
Over the summer of 2016, 10 girls participating in WPI's Camp REACH redesigned two storage areas in the shelter location. Their designs were brought to life with new shelving built by a volunteer, according to their specifications. The new organization has greatly benefited staff and residents alike with clearer inventory and far less time spent looking for items.
On Tuesday, the campers from 2016 returned to see their designs put to use, and hear a few words from IHN staff and camp officials. The campers were awarded a plaque which will be posted in the shelter for guests and volunteers to see and appreciate their hard work.

33nd Annual Walk for the Homeless Supports IHN
May 19, 2019
On Sunday, more than 100 volunteers came out to help coordinate more than 1,000 walkers and runners in the Walk for the Homeless, an annual event hosted by the Central Massachusetts Housing Alliance. The walk raises an average of $145,000 per year to combat homelessness, and IHN is one of the beneficiaries of those donations, along with a few other Worcester initiatives. This year was the 33nd year of the walk, making it the oldest continuous local community walk fundraising event in Worcester County.
