Case Management

Families come to IHN primarily because they lack stable housing, but often find that they want to focus on and change other areas of their lives as well. Case management facilitates these changes--including everything from employment to mental health to daycare. At the beginning of their stay, residents determine their long term goals for leaving shelter and beyond, and work on achieving these goals in weekly meetings with the case manager. Additionally, the case manager connects residents with support services and other resources in the community.
